SDS proposal for Brussels-controlled media council voted down

Ljubljana, 8 September - The parliamentary Culture Committee has struck down a set of recommendations by the opposition Democratic Party (SDS) to "ensure independent and unbiased" conduct at the public broadcaster, including through a media council under oversight of the European Commission.
