Immediate Response 2016 exercise starts
Cerklje ob Krki, 9 September - Immediate Response 2016, a two-week international military exercise, will start this afternoon at the Jernej Molan Barracks in Cerklje ob Krki. The main exercise of the year for the Slovenian Armed Forces will feature around 2,000 participants from ten European countries and the US.

The Slovenian Armed Forces conduct Skok 2016 (Leap 2016), a showcase of the army's tactical and logistical readiness as well as a celebration of a key military exercise 25 years ago that presaged the independence war.
