Stock exchange index slightly lower, volumes exceed EUR 2m

Ljubljana, 19 October - The SBI TOP index of blue chips on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange closed 0.29% lower at 730.37 points in mixed trading on Wednesday. Household appliance maker Gorenje stood out among the winners (+3.03% to EUR 8.50), and insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav (-1.24% to EUR 22.22) among the losing items. Total volume amounted to EUR 2.45m.
