Constitution amended making drinking water fundamental right
Ljubljana, 17 November - The National Assembly passed on Thursday an amendment to the Constitution that makes access to drinking water a fundamental right and is seen as a bulwark against privatisation of water sources. Slovenia will become the second EU country after Slovakia to protect access to drinking water in the Constitution.
