SMC pushes through deal with doctors as junior partners protest

Ljubljana, 1 December - The government on Thursday endorsed the signing of a controversial agreement that aims to end the doctors' strike, after the ruling Modern Centre Party (SMC) brushed aside concerns by both junior coalition partners. But the deal also takes the government on a collision course with other public sector trade unions.
