Slovenian MEP in the running for top EU Parliament job
Brussels, 8 December - Slovenian conservative MEP Lojze Peterle confirmed on Thursday his bid for the presidency of the European Parliament. He is now one of the four candidates in the European People's Party (EPP) to vie for the post.
