Ljubljana, 23 December - In the spirit of Christmas the government has secured extra funding to appease public employees and pensioners, rescuing some austerity for 2017, the year of the presidential election which will see Pahor bid for reelection. While Slovenia appears to have lost its Teran wine dispute with Croatia, its winter athletes kept winning.
