Ljubljana, 6 January - The government entered the New Year by adopting controversial amendments to the aliens act that will effectively seal Slovenia's border in the event of renewed surge of migrations. Diplomats started the year with an annual gathering, at which reshuffling in the EU and relations with Croatia were pinpointed as key challenges in 2017.
