Quarter of a century passing since Slovenia's international recognition

Ljubljana, 12 January - It will be 25 years on 15 January since the European Community, the EU's precursor, recognised Slovenia's independence. This milestone in the integration of the country into the international community was followed by recognitions from across the globe and in May Slovenia was already admitted to the UN.
