Premier Drnovšek Met with Judiciary Representatives
Ljubljana, 1 October - GOVERNMENT/DRNOVŠEK/JUDICIARY/MEETING
In the framework of Tuesday meeting with representatives of judiciary, government, law and parliament, Slovene Premier Janez Drnovšek denied some allegations about the juridical system not being efficient that are often heard. According to Premier, it is not true that in Slovenia favourable conditions for mafia operations are being created, adding that this will not ever happen in Slovenia. He also said that "a solid juridical system is what we need because this country can not survive with a poor one".
