Higher expenditure drags Ljubljana hospital EUR 25.5m into red

Ljubljana, 16 March - UKC Ljubljana, Slovenia's biggest hospital, generated a loss of almost EUR 25.5m in 2016 on the back of EUR 33.5m higher expenditure than the year before. Director general Andraž Kopač said on Thursday measures for stabilising operation would continue, including cutting material costs and rationalisation of organisation.
