Run on streets of Tržič or along river Krka
Tržič/Novo Mesto, 29 March - Running enthusiasts will get a chance this weekend to join a run in the Alpine town of Tržič (NW) or a run along the Krka river in Novo mesto (SE).

Novo mesto, the biggest municipality in the statistical region of SE Slovenia, which the government will visit on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The run in the streets of Tržič on Saturday will take place for the 10th time this year and is intended for all generations of runners.
The small town placed in a narrow valley is perhaps an unusual goal for runners, but the route going through the historical town centre will not disappoint, the organisers said.
The event is a part of the Gorenjska, My Planet series of recreational events, and will also see local shops and restaurants join in.
The ParkTek 2017 run in Novo mesto on Saturday is an event organised by the local association of students, the participation fee of which will go for charity.
In addition to the main 9-km run along the Krka for different age groups, the event will also feature a 300-m and 600-m runs for children.
Hikers are, meanwhile, invited for the 13th March on the Paths of Peace in Kras on Sunday, which starts at the memorial to the defenders of Slovenian lands on Cerje (W).
The march features two routes (12 km and 7 km) and will take the participants along natural and cultural sights and remains of the Isonzo Front from WWI.
