EU Court finds illegal tyre dump in Slovenia in breach of EU rules

Ljubljana/Brussels, 7 April - The Court of Justice has found that a major illegal tyre landfill in the east of Slovenia represents a breach of EU waste legislation. The case was initiated by the European Commission, which can demand a fine at the court if Slovenia does not deal with the issue in due time.
