WWII remembered on Resistance Day

Ljubljana/Ptuj, 27 April - Several events will be held in Slovenia on Thursday to mark Resistance Day, dedicated to the Liberation Front, which spearheaded the resistance against Nazi and Fascist occupation in WWII. The national ceremony was held in Trbovlje last night with parliamentary Speaker Milan Brglez as the keynote speaker.
