Union Olimpija wins national basketball championship
Ljubljana, 24 May - Union Olimpija won the national basketball championship on Wednesday by defeating Rogaška 94:78 at home to clinch the final series with three games to one, becoming champions for the 16th time in independent Slovenia. The title for the Ljubljana club comes after seven years of futility.
