Upper chamber presidents discuss idea of a European senate

Brdo pri Kranju, 1 June - Presidents of European upper chambers gathered at Brdo pri Kranju on Thursday for a two-day meeting of the Association of European Senates. They focused on the idea of a European senate, as some participants believe it would improve the democratic process, while others argued that it would alienate citizens from the EU even more.
