Political events in July were marked by a two-week session of the Slovenian Parliament and of the discovery of 120 tons of weapons in a storehouse at Maribor Airport. Threats to publish the files of former collaborators with security services, who now hold high political offices, kept reappearing. The discovery of weapons at the Maribor airport brought up a number of questions with no satisfying answers. Parliament deputies discussed this topic at a session, dealing with a government report about the discovered weapons. Is it possible, asked the deputies, that the weapons had been stored at Maribor Airport ever since last September without our security services knowing about it? Due to a number of unresolved questions, the deputies will continue to discuss these problems in autumn.
