Ljubljana, 16 August - Last week was marked by the third round of Slovenian-Italian talks, held in Strmol Castle near Cerkljah in the Gorenjska region, by Italy stepping up the surveillance of the Slovenian-Italian border, by the emergency session of the Slovenian government, by the latest problem related to the discovery of weapons at Maribor Airport, by bi-lateral talks held by Slovenian President Milan Kučan in Stuttgart, and by the increasingly worse situation caused by the drought, which affected Slovenia.
