Charge Cards Gain Grounds Replacing Cheques

Charge card holders in Slovenia had over 414 thousand cards at their disposal at the end of this June, which means over 14 thousand new ones compared to the end of first quarter of this year. The number of payments by charge cards increased from almost one million in the first quarter to six million in the second, while the average worth of such payment increased by 3.4 percent, amounting to SIT 4,863 at the end of June.
