Slovenia wants info on Austria's border control plans

Ljubljana, 10 August - After Austria announced on Wednesday it would beef up security in border areas, the Slovenian Foreign Ministry demanded an explanation from the Austrian Embassy in Ljubljana. Charge d'affairs at the embassy, Martin Hermges, asserted that police would only tighten control in the border areas not at border crossings, the ministry told the STA.
