Slovenia at top of EU in visits to live cultural events
Luxembourg, 22 August - Slovenians are the most frequent visitors of live performances, such as concerts, theatre plays or the ballet, in the EU, Eurostat announced on Tuesday. In 2015, 27.7% of Slovenia's population said they had been to live performances at least four times.
According to the EU's statistics office, Slovenia was followed by Luxembourg (26.8%), Finland (23.9%) and Austria (21.8%).
In total, 13.6% of the EU population attended live cultural events at least four times in 2015.
On the other side of the spectrum are Poland (3.7%), Greece (4.6%), and Bulgaria and Romania (6.7% each).
