Soldiers looking at substantially higher pay under new bill

Ljubljana, 2 September - Slovenian soldiers can expect significantly higher pay under a bill on army service that the government adopted this week. Details of the legislation suggest they would be entitled to sign-up and retention bonuses, a special no-strike bonus and improved prospects for staying in the army beyond the mandatory retirement age.
