Ruling SMC to present presidential candidate next week

Ljubljana, 2 September - The ruling Modern Centre Party (SMC) will decide on its candidate for the upcoming presidential election in the middle of next week. Prime Minister Miro Cerar would not reveal the name of the candidate after Saturday's party consultations, but unofficially the party will put forward Education Minister Maja Makovec Brenčič.
