Gov't Retraining Programmes Aid Project Successful

The Slovene government discussed, at its session Wednesday, the report on implementing the government aid project for companies running retraining programmes, estimating the project is a major step towards creating new healthy kernels in companies, the majority of which no longer had any real goals or programmes when the project started. Including 12 companies with over 13,000 workers, the project will run another year, so that final estimations of its results will not be possible until end next year, government spokesman Borut Šuklje told after the session.
