SDS impeachment motion against Cerar rejected in parliament

Ljubljana, 9 January - Parliament rejected in a 52:18 vote on Tuesday an impeachment motion against Prime Minister Miro Cerar filed by the opposition Democrats (SDS). The SDS was alone in its conviction that Cerar had violated the Constitution by proposing an alternative solution to the deportation of a Syrian refugee.
