Minister proposes 4.7% rise in minimum wage

Ljubljana, 15 January - Labour Minister Anja Kopač Mrak proposes raising the statutory minimum wage in Slovenia by 4.7% to EUR 842.79 gross a month, which amounts to 638.42 net. However, trade unions want a bigger raise and believe Slovenia needs a systemic law that would adjust the minimum wage automatically every January.
