Asylum seeker's supporters accuse govt of malicious law interpretation
Ljubljana, 9 March - The fate of Ahmad Shamieh, a Syrian refugee facing deportation to Croatia because Slovenia claims he should have requested asylum in the first EU country he entered, remains uncertain although his supporters believe Slovenia has become liable to process him under the Dublin Regulation. They have accused the state of intentional maliciousness.
