Koper-Divača referendum annulled, Cerar resigns in protest

Ljubljana, 14 March - The Supreme Court has annulled the September 2017 referendum in which the law governing the financing of the Koper-Divača rail project was endorsed, ordering a repeat vote while the project remains in limbo. The decision prompted Prime Minister Miro Cerar to resign just months before the end of the government's term.
