PM Cerar steps down in wake of rail track ruling

Ljubljana, 14 March - Prime Minister Miro Cerar has announced he is stepping down in response to the Supreme Court's decision to annul the September 2017 referendum on the Koper-Divača rail project, which he described as "the last straw". He will notify President Borut Pahor on his resignation on Thursday.
