Economic-Social Council Adopts Fall Report
Ljubljana, 18 December - ECONOMIC/SOCIAL/COUNCIL
The Economic-Social Council adopted Wednesday the Fall Report, an analysis of economic developments in 1996 with an estimate for 1996 and 1997, worked out by the Institute for Macroeconomic Analyses and Development (IMAD). The Council also appointed a threepartite expert commission, made up of government, employer and trade union representatives, which must draw up a joint report on the implementation of the 1996 social agreement by the three social partners. Duie to be completed by 15 January, the report will be discussed at the next Council's session.
