Ljubljana, 23 August - The issue of the discovery of a large deposit of weapons at Maribor Airport acquired greater importance last week since it turned into a conflict between the Minister of Defence and the Minister of Justice. Political observers predict a government crisis, while commentators of various Slovenian newspapers maintain that this is the fight for power between the left and the laic right wing in Slovenian political life, or that this is a tendency of the Minister of Defence, who has allegedly become a "disturbing element" in the government, who should withdraw. Slovenian farmers remained worried about the drought causing great damage. While Slovenian diplomats had a rest, organisers of numerous fairs and workers in tourism were very active.
