Ljubljana, 24 August - Today's Slovenian daily newspapers carry on their front pages articles entitled "No Rain Brings Catastrophe" (Delo), "Slovenia Hit by Drought of Century" (Slovenske Novice), "Dry Summer Consumes Forests" (Republika), and "Drought - National Catastrophe" (Slovenec). They write about the drought which has been assessed as the most serious this century. It has caused SIT 34 billion damage to agriculture alone. Among domestic affairs, the most reported issue is the criticism of the work of the Maribor court, expressed by Slovenian defence minister Janez Janša. At the forefront of events abroad remains the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
