Inflation in December Amounts to 0.7 Percent
Ljubljana, 30 December - INFLATION/DECEMBER
Average retail prices were by 0.7 percent higher in December 1996 than in November 1996. The same is the rate of December inflation, which is calculated on the basis of the movement of retail prices. According to the National Office of Statistics, this month retail prices were by 8.8 percent up from December 1995, which means the annual inflation amounts to 8.8 percent.
