PM Cerar announces lawsuit against Croatia as EU Commission stays silent

Ljubljana, 18 June - The European Commission confirmed on Monday it would not issue an opinion on Slovenia's plan to take Croatia to the EU Court of Justice over its non-implementation of the border arbitration award. PM Miro Cerar responded by saying the Commission had neglected its role as guardian of the Treaties and announced the lawsuit would be filed by mid-July.
