1996 Budget Balance Better Than Expected

Ljubljana, 5 January - Overall balance of the 1996 national budget will be better than predicted when the budget was adopted and also when the budget deficiency bill was passed in July, the Institute for Macroeconomic Analysis and Development found in December after having analyzed data on the realization of budget revenues and expenditure from January through November 1996 and the Finance Ministry's interim estimate.
