Von Gruenigen Wins Kranjska Gora Giant Slalom

Swiss Michael Von Gruenigen took a clear victory at the Kranjska gora World Cup Giant Slalom. Austrian Siegfried Voglreiter came second (2:15,06) and Norwegian Kjetil Andre Aamodt third(2:15,78). Slovene Jure Košir was 9th (2:16,27), Mitja Kunc 22nd (2:17,56) and Rene Mlekuž 25th (2:17,74). Other Slovenes failed to qualify to the second run. Jernej Koblar was 31st (1:09,43), Drago Grubelnik 41st (1:09,91) and Mitja Valenčič 53rd (1:11,21).
