Review of Slovenian Press

Ljubljana, 25 August - Slovenian daily newspapers today devote their front pages to the hearing of Janez Janša, the Slovenian Minister of Defence, before the Investigating Magistrate of Maribor in connection with the discovery of arms at Maribor Airport. Among other domestic events, the newspapers carry reports on yesterday's press conference held by the Associated List of Social Democrats on current political developments, and the continued strike by six workers of the Kočna enterprise of Kamnik. A great deal of attention is devoted to tomorrow's visit of the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs to Slovenia. At the forefront of events abroad is the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
