Retailers renouncing battery cage eggs

Ljubljana, 9 August - Several retailers in Slovenia are removing battery cage produced eggs from their shelves due to a nation-wide campaign led by the Ljubljana Animal Protection Society and the Danes Je Nov Dan organisation. Most recently, E.Leclerc and Eurospin announced they would stop selling battery cage eggs.
