Delo: Slovene Politicians As Bribable as Those Abroad

Ljubljana, 11 January - Slovenia's public is highly divided on the question whether Ciril Pucek's resigning from the deputy group of Slovene Christian Democrats (SKD) and his public announcement to support Janez Drnovšek's candidacy for the post of premier is wise political behaviour. As established by the daily Delo's Stik agency in an opinion poll, 23.7 percent of the polled approve of the legislator's move and believe he acted politically wisely, while 34.7 percent of them reject his behaviour. The rest of the poll was either neutral and indifferent to the issue (28 percent) or did not wish or was unable to answer the question (13.6 percent).
