The manner in which the Spring parties began to construct bridges has led to it that after 1992 Slovenia's policy has once again found itself on two separate and unbridged banks. And this makes it rather poor consolation for all supporters of the policy of the centre: if Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek forms an autumn-winter-summer government, which is to be faced by strong spring opposition, the above-mentioned polarization is likely to deepen further or, should it attempt to overcome it, the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia (LDS) will have to draw in a part of the spring party voters, the daily Dnevnik writes on Saturday.
