Nedelo: Mandate for New Election

The main question at the moment is whether Janez Drnovšek, winning re-election through Christian Democrat Ciril Pucko's defection, can form a government able to live through its first trials. Drnovšek is no doubt the most interested in talks with the Podobnik dynasty of the Slovene People's Party, the only true surprise winner of the november election. Parliament Speaker Janez Podobnik is said to follow the motto "Never Say Never", which could present the bridge between Drnovšek's Liberal Democracy and the People's Party, writes Nedelo Sunday.
