Finance looks at wider causes for fall of Turkish lira

Ljubljana, 20 August - The Turkish lira had been losing ground for a while because of the country's misguided economic policy and would continue to lose value even it the country did not get into a conflict with the US, the newspaper Finance says in Monday's commentary entitled Bosporus Sultan.
