Slovenia Still Observer to SECI

Ljubljana, 14 January - DRNOVŠEK/SCHIFTER/SECI
Prior to U.S. national security advisor Richard Schifter's visit to Ljubljana, Slovenia's Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek told a news conference the situation has not changed so that Slovenia will argue in talks with Schifter that all parliamentary bodies to discuss membership in the South Europe Cooperation Initiative have not been formed yet. Slovenia currently has the status ob observer in SECI.
