Premier Drnovšek Presented Draft For Government Coalition

Slovene Premier Janez Drnovšek sent a draft for participation in the new government coalition Friday to all the presidents of parliamentary parties. The draft of this coalition agreement includes orientations and goals as well as a rough division of ministries among individual parties, told Drnovšek the news conference Friday. The presidents of the parliamentary parties are to give their answers by noon, Monday, however, further harmonization could follow and the coalition would be finally formed on Tuesday. According to Drnovšek's draft for government coalition, the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia (LDS) would get 5 ministries, the Slovenian People's Party (SLS) would get 4, the Socialdemocratic Party of Slovenia (SDS) would get 3, the Slovenian Christian Democrats (SKD) and the United List of Social Democrats (ZLSD) would each get 2 ministries and the Democratic Party of the Retired of Slovenia (DeSUS) and the Slovenian National Party (SNS) would each get one.
