Intl community must continue supporting Macedonia's EU, NATO aspirations, MEP says

Brussels, 1 October - The international community must continue supporting Macedonia on its way to join the EU and NATO, MEP Ivo Vajgl said after a referendum about a name changed failed on Sunday. MEP Lojze Peterle said that this would delay its joining the EU and NATO, while Slovenia's Ambassador to NATO said that W Balkan countries needed to focus on the future.
