Amnesty International urges measures to help Roma children in schools
Ljubljana, 4 October - Amnesty International Slovenija (AIS) has called on Slovenian authorities to conduct a comprehensive study to shed light on and tackle the failure of Roma children in Slovenia, in some cases 99% of them, to finish primary education. The NGO is also indicating that Roma children are being segregated by being directed to special needs schools.
