Janez Drnovšek Presents "Minimum Majority" Government Proposal
Ljubljana, 24 January - GOVERNMENT/CANDIDATES/MINISTERS
Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek submitted his government proposal to Parliament Speaker Janez Podobnik on Friday. According to the proposal, Slovenia's new government will consist of 16 ministries from four parties, of which the Liberal Democracy is to get nine ministries, the United List of Social Democrats (ZLSD) five and the Slovene National Party (SNS) and the Democratic Party of Pensioners (DeSUS) one ministry each. The ministry of justice and the ministry of agriculture, forestry and food remained were as yet not appointed new ministers.
