A Woman for Police; A Man for Diplomacy

Ljubljana, 24 January - GOVERNMENT/MINISTERS/CANDIDATES/STATEMENTS
According to the proposal for the new Slovene government, put forward by premier-designate Janez Drnovšek on Friday, the ministries of interior and of foreign affairs are to be headed by Polona Dobrajc of the Slovene National Party (SNS) and Zoran Thaler of the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia (LDS). Both candidates gave statements for the STA shortly after nomination.
