Turnover Made by Exchange Offices in Slovenia in 1996

Exchange offices in Slovenia bought 3.954 billion German marks' worth foreign currency and sold foreign currency totalling DM 3.805 billion last year, the records of the Bank of Slovenia show. The overall purchase of foreign exchange exceeded by DM 149 million the total of sales. Both the amount of foreign exchange sales and that of purchases were higher in contractual bureaux de change as in exchange points in banks.
