Several well-known persons among mayoral candidates
Ljubljana, 19 November - A number of athletes, journalists, MPs and former mayors were among mayoral candidates in Sunday's local elections. Several have made it to the 2 December run-off, including Dakar endurance race participant Miran Stanovnik, Patria trial defendant Ivan Črnkovič, former TV editor Bojan Traven and ex-diplomat Milan Balažic.
